July 2018

In July 2018 my wife and I had an 8-night trip to California. We’ve driven over 2400km, visited 2 National Parks and made new friends. I was thinking of making a series of posts. To keep it short and sweet.

How we got there

We had a flight from London to San Francisco with one stop in Keflavík International Airport, Iceland. It was the furthest place to the North I’ve ever been to. From Iceland to San Francisco we flew over Greenland and it was amazing, see the pic below.

Then we headed down towards Stanford University and visited the main campus. Great atmosphere!

Stanford University campus Memorial Church — Behind Amina there is a Memorial Church. An interdenominational church with public tours featuring pipe organ, stained glass windows & mosaics.

We couldn’t skip the Giants game. It was a great experience. If you ever visit San Francisco, you should go to Giants match at their home stadium, AT&T Park.
