One of the benefits of the Global Talent Visa is that you can bring your family to the UK, namely your partner and children, and they will have the same conditions and privileges as you. Parents are not covered by this visa.
Also your partner, who will subsequently be granted dependent status, can apply for a visa later than you if for whatever reason they are unable to leave at the same time as you.
